When Ferdinand Adolph Lange, a Dresden watchmaker, established his watch manufactory in 1845, he laid the cornerstone of Saxony’s precision watchmaking. The company was expropriated after World War II, and the name A. Lange & Söhne nearly fell into oblivion. In 1990, Ferdinand Adolph Lange’s great-grandson Walter Lange had the courage to relaunch the brand. Today, Lange crafts only a few thousand wristwatches in gold or platinum per year. They are endowed exclusively with proprietary movements that are lavishly decorated and assembled by hand. In a period of little more than 20 years, A. Lange & Söhne developed 51 manufacture calibres and secured a top-tier position among the world’s finest watch brands.

Vacheron Constantin, the world's oldest Haute Horlogerie manufacturer, with more than 255 years of uninterrupted history, will introduce an exclusive limited edition timepiece from its Overseas collection, with its azure blue dial inspired by the waters surrounding this tropical urban community. Rare pieces from Vacheron Constantin's Metiers D'Art collections will also be featured on display. A dedicated art wall will feature rotating works from local artists. A Vacheron Constantin trained watchmaker will be present throughout the year to offer advice and personal service to collectors. The boutique's rich and elegant architectural and decorative details highlight the quality of craftsmanship, sophisticated level of refinement, and high level of finishing of the timepieces.

The two story Miami Design District boutique carries women’s ready-to-wear, handbags and shoe collections. The 4,765 square foot boutique marks an important step in the development of Valentino’s worldwide retail network expansion, and it continues the innovative store concept developed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, together with David Chipperfield Architects. The floor through layout made of Venetian terrazzo framing the floors, walls and openings creates a shared personal atmosphere while still maintaining the brand’s fundamental values of craftsmanship, romanticism, and classical style. The store concept combines old and new in order to generate a Palazzo atmosphere, steering away from the pure showroom and promoting a new architectural format in place of a more traditional retail boutique structure.

ZADIG & VOLTAIRE

The store itself is a concept store that revolves around a set of materials and lights designed by the founder Thierry Giller. Steel, concrete, molded and white lacquer are part of the initial concept and show the identity in France and worldwide.

The new lighting created from LED tubes, an allusion to the artist Dan Flavin, is in perfect harmony with the passion for the art of TG. He goes further in Paris he where he shared his passion with the customers by exposing in shops of works such as those by Franz West, Daniel Firman, Philip Lai, and Richard Jason.

Designated by the architect Isabelle Stanislas since the first store, the creative and innovative aspects are defended, while provided the key and contemporary rock.
